Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig

My Ficus lyrata has been in the same spot for three years now, and I'm finally accepting it just prefers bright indirect light over the west-facing window I kept moving it to. I used to think those brown leaf edges meant I wasn't watering right, but honestly, the air here is so dry that misting barely helped. Since I stopped fussing and just let it settle, it's actually thriving. Anyone else have a fiddle leaf fig that took years to show its real personality?
