Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig

My fiddle leaf fig finally stopped dropping leaves after I moved it away from the heating vent and committed to letting the soil dry out slightly between waterings. I know everyone says they're finicky, but I think they just hate being fussed with constantly—which is ironic, because I spent months rotating it and misting it obsessively. Now it's happily growing new leaves, and I'm trying very hard not to jinx it by hovering too much.
