Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig

I finally figured out why my Ficus lyrata keeps dropping leaves near the window—it's the cold draft from the sill in winter, not underwatering like I thought. Moved it back a few feet and the new growth looks so much happier. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm still learning where exactly to place it so it gets enough bright, indirect light without the temperature swings. Mine's only about two years old, so I'm probably still making rookie mistakes with the whole thing.
