Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig
MajaPlants·25 July 2026Community
I finally figured out why my Ficus lyrata looked so miserable for two years—it wasn't underwatering like everyone says, it was the low humidity in my arid climate. I moved it away from the heating vent and started misting weekly, and the new growth came in without those brown edges. It's still slow, but at least it's actually growing now instead of just surviving. Has anyone else found the "bright indirect light" advice less helpful than adjusting for their local humidity?
