Notes on my Peace Lily

My peace lily (Spathiphyllum wallisii) has been drooping like crazy, so I moved it away from direct sun and started watering when the soil felt dry an inch down. It perked up within days, which honestly surprised me—I thought I'd overwatered it. Has anyone else had this plant suddenly bounce back after a small change? I'm still learning when these guys actually need water versus when they're just being dramatic.
