Notes on my Peace Lily

I finally got my peace lily to stop drooping every other day, and honestly it's just about watering when the soil feels dry—not on a schedule like I was doing. I think I was overthinking it. Mine's been happier in my kitchen where it gets indirect light from the window, and it actually flowered last month which shocked me. Has anyone else's peace lily taken forever to adjust when you first brought it home, or was mine just being dramatic?
