Notes on my Peace Lily

I've had my Spathiphyllum wallisii for three years now and finally figured out why mine was always sulking compared to pictures online—I was watering on a schedule instead of reading the plant. Turns out mine prefers drying out almost completely between waterings, which seems backwards for a tropical species. Now I just wait for that telltale droop and water deeply. The difference in vigor has been remarkable.
