Notes on my Peace Lily

I've had my Spathiphyllum wallisii for about two years now, and I'm finally getting the drama right—turns out mine was drooping not from underwatering like everyone says, but from low humidity in my dry Mediterranean climate. A pebble tray made all the difference. Has anyone else found the "thirsty plant" reputation a bit misleading? I'm curious if it's just my setup or if they're actually more fussy about air moisture than soil moisture.
