Notes on my Peace Lily

I've had my Spathiphyllum wallisii for three years now, and I'm finally accepting that it actually prefers the shadier corner of my living room rather than the bright indirect light I kept insisting on. The foliage is lusher there, and the dramatic wilting act happens far less often. I think I was overthinking it—the species evolved in the rainforest understory, after all. Has anyone else found their peace lily thriving in lower light than the usual advice suggests?
