Notes on my Pothos

I've had my Epipremnum aureum trailing around my kitchen window for about eight months now, and I'm still trying to figure out the watering schedule. It seems happy enough, but the leaves occasionally look a bit pale. I've been assuming it's because I'm sometimes inconsistent with water—I live in a tropical climate so it gets pretty humid. Does anyone else find pothos forgiving but still a bit mysterious? I'd love to know if I should be feeding it or if I'm overthinking.
