Notes on my Pothos

I've had my Epipremnum aureum trailing down a shelf for three years now, and I'm finally getting to the bottom of why it was growing so slowly. Turns out I was way overwatering—the aerial roots were soft and the growth had plateaued. Once I backed off and let the soil dry between waterings, it absolutely took off. Now it's my most vigorous plant. Has anyone else struggled with restraint on the watering can?
