Notes on my Pothos

I've had my Epipremnum aureum trailing down a shelf for about three years now, and I finally figured out why it was growing so slowly—I was watering on a fixed schedule instead of checking the soil first. Once I switched to letting the top inch dry out between waterings, new growth came in noticeably faster. It's a forgiving plant, but it really does respond when you pay attention to what it actually needs rather than what you think it should need.
