Notes on my Pothos

I've had my Epipremnum aureum trailing across my bookshelf for about eight months now, and I'm finally seeing real growth after moving it closer to my east-facing window. I was keeping it too far back in the room like an idiot. The new leaves are noticeably bigger too. Has anyone else found that pothos responds that quickly to better light, or am I just late to the party? Also wondering if I should be fertilizing during the rainy season here or waiting until it's drier.
