Notes on my Pothos

My pothos has been trailing across my kitchen windowsill for three years now, and I finally figured out why it was always so sluggish compared to what people claimed—I was watering on a schedule instead of checking the soil first. Once I stopped that habit, new growth came in almost immediately. The leaves are noticeably larger too. Anyone else fall into that trap, or was it just me?
