Notes on my Pothos

I've had my Epipremnum aureum trailing across the top of my bedroom shelf for about three years now, and I'm finally seeing those characteristic fenestrations starting to appear on the newer leaves. I always assumed I'd need perfect conditions, but honestly, it's been thriving on benign neglect in dappled light. Has anyone else noticed theirs gets those splits faster in brighter indirect light? I'm curious if it's worth relocating mine or if I should just enjoy the journey as-is.
