Notes on my Pothos

I've had my Epipremnum aureum trailing over the same shelf for three years now, and I'm still puzzled by how inconsistent the growth is depending on light. In my setup, the vines closer to the window node out far more densely than the ones extending into the shadier corner. I know they're tolerant, but I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this with their pothos—does moving yours to brighter indirect light noticeably speed up the internodal spacing, or am I just overthinking it?
