Notes on my Pothos

I've had my pothos trailing from a bookshelf for years now, and I finally figured out why it was growing so slowly—I was watering it like it actually needed attention! Turns out mine prefers to dry out almost completely between waterings, which makes sense given my mediterranean apartment. Now it's practically strangling the shelf. Anyone else find theirs is happier when basically neglected?
