Notes on my Snake Plant

I finally got my Sansevieria trifasciata to flower after two years of patient neglect—honestly, I think the key was just leaving it alone in a bright corner and watering maybe twice a year. I'd read that flowering was rare indoors, so I wasn't expecting it. The spikes smell faintly sweet at night, which was a nice surprise. Anyone else had luck getting theirs to bloom, or is mine just being stubborn in an unusual way?
