Notes on my Snake Plant

I've had my Sansevieria trifasciata for three years now, and I'm finally seeing pups emerge from the soil—something I wasn't sure would happen indoors in my tropical setup. The real surprise was discovering it actually prefers being a bit neglected; I moved it away from my usual watering routine and it's thrived. Anyone else find their snake plant does better when you basically forget about it?
