Notes on my Snake Plant

I've had my snake plant for about six months now and I'm pretty sure I've been overwatering it because I kept expecting it to need more care than it does. Just discovered that when the soil is still damp, I should really wait before watering again—feels counterintuitive! Has anyone else struggled with this, or is it just me? I'm hoping the yellowing leaves will bounce back now that I'm giving it more breathing room.
