Notes on my Snake Plant

I've had my Sansevieria trifasciata for three years now and only recently realized it actually prefers neglect—I was watering too often and nearly killed it with kindness. Once I switched to watering every three weeks and let the soil dry completely between, it's finally started producing those tall new shoots. If you have one struggling, resist the urge to fuss over it. They're incredibly resilient if you just leave them alone in bright indirect light.
