Notes on my Snake Plant

I've had my Sansevieria trifasciata for about four months now and I'm finally seeing new growth, which feels like a win since I was worried I'd killed it with overwatering early on. I keep it in a bright corner of my living room and water maybe once every three weeks. Has anyone else struggled with the urge to water these more often? I'm still learning when they actually need it versus when I just think they do.
