Notes on my Snake Plant

Just realized my snake plant has been sitting in the same corner for months and honestly I think it's happier now than when I was moving it around trying to find the "perfect" spot. I have it in bright indirect light near a window and it seems totally content. Still learning when to water though—I keep second-guessing myself. How often do you actually water yours? I'm worried I'm overdoing it even though the soil dries out pretty fast here in the Mediterranean heat.
