Notes on my Snake Plant

I've had my snake plant for years and honestly thought it was indestructible until I overwatered it last winter and nearly killed the poor thing. Now I'm obsessed with letting the soil dry out completely between waterings—like, *completely*. Has anyone else found they actually have to fight the urge to fuss with theirs? Mine's finally putting out new growth and I'm weirdly proud of myself for just... leaving it alone.
