Notes on my Snake Plant

Just realized my snake plant has been sitting in the same spot for like six months and I honestly forgot about it—which I guess says something about how low-maintenance it actually is! I water it maybe once a month when I remember, and it's still thriving. I think the trick is I accidentally put it near a window with indirect light, and that seems to be the sweet spot. Has anyone else found their snake plant basically takes care of itself, or am I just being lazy? Either way, it's kind of the perfect plant for someone like me who's still figuring all this out.
