Notes on my Snake Plant

I've had my Sansevieria trifasciata for about three years now, and I'm convinced it's nearly indestructible—which is exactly why I almost killed it with kindness. I was watering it weekly until the soil stayed perpetually damp and the rhizome started to rot. Since I backed off to monthly waterings and shifted it to a bright corner, it's bounced back beautifully. Sometimes the best thing you can do for a snake plant is simply leave it alone.
