Notes on my Snake Plant

My snake plant finally pushed out a new leaf after months of nothing, and honestly I think the move to a brighter corner last spring actually made the difference. I'd been treating it like it could survive anywhere, which technically it can, but it was basically just... existing. Now I'm wondering if my other five are secretly bored in their dim spots too. Anyone else find their snake plants actually respond better with more light than they're supposed to need?
