Notes on my Snake Plant

I've had my snake plant for three years now and honestly it's thriving with almost zero attention—I water maybe once a month in winter, barely touch it in summer. The real win? It's one of the few plants that actually looks better when slightly neglected. Mine just sent up a new leaf after I'd honestly forgotten about it for weeks. Does anyone else find snake plants almost boring because they're so reliable, or do you actually enjoy watching them grow slow and steady?
