Notes on my Snake Plant

I've had my snake plant for about two years now and it's honestly the one I worry about the least, which makes me feel a bit guilty sometimes. I keep it in a corner that gets indirect light and water it maybe once a month, if that. It just keeps sending up new leaves like it doesn't need much from me at all. I'm curious though—does anyone else find they actually *forget* about theirs? I'm wondering if I should be doing more or if this low-maintenance thing is just how they're meant to be.
