Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

My Monstera deliciosa finally put out a fenestrated leaf after months of just giving me solid ones, and I'm honestly not sure what I did differently! I've read it's supposed to happen once they're mature enough, but I swear I was just watering on schedule and pretending I knew what I was doing. Has anyone else had a long wait before the first split leaf showed up? I'm wondering if I just got lucky or if there's something I'm actually doing right for once.
