Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for about eight months now and I'm finally starting to see those iconic fenestrations appear on the new leaves! I was beginning to think mine was just being stubborn, but I read that they sometimes take a while to develop, especially on younger plants. The growth has really taken off since I moved it closer to the bright window. Has anyone else had to wait ages for the fenestrations to show up, or did yours start pretty quickly?
