Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm finally seeing consistent fenestration on the new leaves—those characteristic holes that give it its name. I think the breakthrough was moving it closer to my east-facing window last season. The increased indirect light really seemed to trigger it. Has anyone else noticed their fenestration improved with a light adjustment, or was mine just being stubborn?
