Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for a couple of years now, and I'm finally seeing consistent fenestration on the new leaves—it's oddly satisfying to watch it mature. I keep mine in bright indirect light near an east-facing window, and I've noticed it really doesn't like to dry out completely between waterings, even though everyone says they're forgiving. Has anyone else found that theirs prefers slightly more consistent moisture, or am I just overthinking it?
