Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now and it's finally putting out those characteristic fenestrations consistently—took longer than I expected, honestly. I think I was overwatering it the first couple of years, which probably slowed things down. The thing that actually changed it was moving it to a brighter spot and letting the soil dry out more between waterings. Not thrilling advice, I know, but it really does seem to matter more than people suggest.
