Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm finally seeing consistent fenestration on new growth—turns out those leaf splits really do need adequate light and maturity to show up reliably. I was impatient at first, but once I moved it closer to my east-facing window, the difference was night and day. If you're waiting for those iconic holes to appear, don't assume your plant is struggling; sometimes it just needs time and decent indirect light.
