Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I finally figured out why my Monstera deliciosa was so slow to fenestrate—it wasn't getting enough light, even though I thought the bright indirect spot was plenty. Moved it closer to the window last year and the new leaves came in with proper splits right away. Turns out they really do need that luminosity to develop the characteristic holes. Worth mentioning if anyone's waiting around for those dramatic fenestrations to show up.
