Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for a few years now, and I'm finally seeing fenestration develop on the newer leaves—it's genuinely exciting after so much patience. I've read that light quality matters more than intensity for this, so I repositioned mine closer to an east-facing window last season. Has anyone else noticed their M. deliciosa takes longer to fenestrate indoors than it would in tropical conditions, or is mine just being stubborn?
