Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm finally seeing fenestration on the newer leaves—it's such a satisfying milestone. The funny thing is, I initially thought something was wrong and almost moved it to brighter light, but patience and consistent watering seem to have been the real key here. I'm curious whether anyone else noticed their fenestration took longer to develop than expected, or if mine was just being stubborn?
