I've had my Monstera deliciosa for about two years now, and I'm finally getting the fenestration pattern I was hoping for—the new leaves are absolutely perforated. I think the turning point was moving it closer to the east-facing window, though I'm still careful about direct afternoon sun since the leaves can scorch. Has anyone else found that fenestration takes longer than expected, or was I just being impatient those first months?
