Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for about eight months now and I'm still not sure if I'm watering it right—sometimes the leaves get brown tips and I panic, but then it bounces back. The fenestration is finally starting to show on the new leaves, which is so satisfying to watch! Does anyone else struggle with finding the sweet spot for watering, or is it just me? I keep it in a bright spot near an east-facing window and it seems happy enough, but I'd love to know if I'm overthinking it.
