Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for two years now, and I'm finally seeing the characteristic fenestration on the newer leaves—it's such a satisfying payoff. The real game-changer was moving it closer to my east-facing window; I think the improved light intensity triggered the split-leaf development. Has anyone else noticed their M. deliciosa took a while to start fenestrting, or did yours start doing it pretty quickly?
