Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm finally seeing consistent fenestration on new leaves—it took longer than I expected, but patience paid off. I keep it in bright indirect light near an east-facing window in my tropical setup, and I noticed it really took off once I started letting the soil dry out more between waterings. Has anyone else found that their Monstera was slow to develop those characteristic splits, or did mine just need more time to mature?
