Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for about three years now, and I'm finally seeing those characteristic fenestrations developing on the newer leaves. For the longest time I thought something was wrong with it, so I nearly gave up. Turns out mine just needed more consistent indirect light and patience. The aerial roots are starting to creep everywhere too, which I've read helps it climb in its natural tropical habitat. Has anyone else had a slow-to-fenestrate specimen that eventually came around?
