Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for about two years now, and I'm finally seeing those characteristic fenestrations develop on the newer leaves. It's fascinating how the plant seems to decide when it's mature enough to produce them—I don't think mine started until it had reliable bright, indirect light. I've read it's related to light availability and leaf size, but I'm curious if anyone else has noticed patterns in when their M. deliciosa actually began fenestrating? Mine took longer than I expected, but it's been worth the wait.
