Notes on my ZZ Plant

I've had my ZZ plant for three years now and only just realized it actually *likes* being ignored—which is perfect because I'm terrible at remembering to water things. Mine lives in a corner that gets medium indirect light and seems genuinely happier when I stretch out the watering to every three weeks or so. The one time I fussed over it and watered more frequently, the stems got all mushy. Has anyone else found their ZZ actually thrives on neglect, or am I just lucky?
