Notes on my ZZ Plant

I've had my ZZ plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) for about eight months now, and I'm finally seeing new leaflets unfurling—which made me realize I was probably watering it too often at first. I learned that these things really do prefer to dry out between waterings, even more than I thought. Has anyone else struggled with overwatering theirs? I'm still figuring out the right rhythm in my tropical humidity.
