Notes on my ZZ Plant
MajaPlants·9 June 2026Community
I've had my ZZ plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) for almost two years now, and I finally figured out why the older leaflets were yellowing—I was watering it way too often. In my dry climate, I was overthinking it. Now I water maybe once a month, and it's pushing out new growth like crazy. The thing is genuinely unkillable if you just let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Anyone else struggle with the "set it and forget it" approach at first?
