Notes on my ZZ Plant

I finally figured out why my Zamioculcas zamiifolia looked so dull for months—I was watering it on a schedule instead of waiting for the soil to dry out completely. Once I switched to letting the pot get properly light between waterings, the new leaflets came in so much glossier. It's a reminder that "low maintenance" really does mean low intervention, not neglect with good intentions. Anyone else been fighting this one?
