Notes on my ZZ Plant

My ZZ plant has been the easiest thing I've ever grown, which is why I felt silly when I overwatered it last year and watched the stems get all mushy. Turns out they really do prefer to dry out between waterings—I was treating it like my other plants, but it's a lot more forgiving if you let it be. Now I water maybe once a month and it's thriving. If you're new to plants like I was, a ZZ is honestly a great starting point.
