Notes on my ZZ Plant

I've had my Zamioculcas zamiifolia for three years now and it's finally putting out a new leaflet from the rhizome—I'm oddly excited about this. People always say ZZ plants are indestructible, but I think they're actually just patient. Mine got leggy in year one because I kept fussing with it, so I just... stopped. Now it's thriving in a corner with indirect light and barely any water. Honestly the best decision was learning to leave it alone.
